He wrote in mirrior form so because it was easier or so people couldnt read as easy.Leonardo knew a lot of an animals body through dissecting. He also did from humans. Some people who died at war were dissected by leonardo.
In 1505 Leonardo worked a little bit on the mechanics of flight and the air movements. He only had 17 pages out of all his notebooks that had to do with machanics of flight.
